Designed for Tight Spaces
Now you don’t have to choose between bass and space! Alpine’s S-Series Shallow Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure measures at a minimal 4.5” (114mm) deep to deliver the loud and powerful sound Alpine’s S-Series are famous for, all-while to suit most vehicle applications. Moreover, the “feet” are adjustable in height to accommodate uneven vehicle floors.
Powerful Performance
The SS-SB12 features a 2” voice coil inside of a lightweight yet powerful neodymium magnet for up to 300W RMS of power handling. This combined with a front-mounted magnet motor allows the enclosure to have an extremely shallow footprint while maintaining powerful bass performance.
Adjustable Mounting Options
Four adjustable, foam-padded steel mounting brackets allow for flexible installation in many areas and vehicle types, while the foam reduces vibration during play for optimised performance.
Precise Bass Control
Alpine’s Gen2 DD-Linear Magnetic Circuit technology, a compact and efficient dual-gap voice coil structure, allows for better control over the motor, resulting in 22mm of peak-to-peak linear excursion for maximised output.
Optimal Power Match
With dual voice coils wired in parallel for a 2Ω load, the Alpine S-Series 10” Shallow Subwoofer Enclosure is optimised to perform with Alpine’s S2-A55V, KTA-200M, or KTA-30MW amplifiers.
